WSAB Applying the Mental Capacity Act Free Learning Event

23 Jan 2018

On the morning of Wednesday 14 March 2018 Wiltshire Safeguarding Adults Board will be holding a free learning event in Devizes.

This event will be an opportunity to hear from local experts and to gain a better understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 to ensure that you, and your teams, are using the Act as a framework to empower people to make decisions for themselves wherever possible, and to protect those who lack capacity.

The focus of the event will be learning from real life case studies.

Please note this event is aimed at anyone working in health or social care or who is working with vulnerable adults.

In order to manage the numbers for this event, any expression of interest should be sent to lsab@wiltshire.gov.uk no later than 7 February. Places are limited and we are looking to have multi-agency representation so will confirm places by 14 February.

If you have any queries please contact LSAB Business Support on 01225 718093.
