At the end of 2021, we started to feel our WCP website was looking a bit tired and out of date and so we got together with Salisbury-based design company, Blue Bee to work on a new look website that would showcase the services we’ve developed over the last couple of years.
We’re delighted with our new look and we think our new site will give us the space and platform for us to bring you all the local and national developments in social care for years to come, plus allow us to highlight our event and our brilliant services, such as our Trusted Assessors and our ongoing digital support work.
We’ll be posting updates on news and developments in social care, plus using our new site to hold information and frequently asked questions. You’ll also be able to use it to learn more about what we do behind the scenes on an ongoing basis to support and promote the provision of independent social care in Wiltshire, not to mention who’s involved on the WCP Board.
You’ll be able to easily access support from us for all sorts of things, and we’ll be asking you for pictures and stories to share from time to time.
To celebrate, we’re planning a series of webinars for providers, starting with the buzz topic of the day, how to provide good menopause support in the workplace. We’ll also be looking at how care providers can get involved in the development of better end of life services and we’ll have the first of two sessions from Justine Button on changes within CQC and what this means for providers.
To find out more go to our Events sections, where you will also find all the latest webinar and workshop offerings for the DSPT as part of our Better Security, Better Care support programme.
Do spend a few moments having a look at our new site and let us know what you think!
